This is our all time favourite restaurant. Just love the entire look and feel of the restaurant. Located in selfridges first floor or can be access directly from Duke street. They service all Sort of cuisines. Our all time favorite is bang bang chicken, fish and chips , miso cod , chicken Milanese , pop corn shrimp, sweet potato fries and mushroom wild rice. I just find the servers little uptight. The Pegasus in the middle of the restaurant makes the dinning experience fun and welcoming. Like I said before it’s our all time favourite restaurant and we ended our 2024 in the restaurant on 31st dec. started our 2025 having lunch in first week of Jan

We had an amazing lunch with friends last Friday, the staff were extremely accomodating as we not only changed the time of our booking last minute, but also added 2 extra people as well. They couldn't have been more helpful & nothing was too much trouble.
Our waitress Amber, was a complete joy, super friendly & chatty & didn't rush us at all. She made sure we had everything we wanted & seemed to know even before we did when we needed more wine, water or our next course.
The meal was excellent & everyone of our group thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambiance & the wonderfully friendly service from Amber & her colleagues.

Absolutely loved it here, the interior was absolutely unmatched ⭐️ The staff was very kind and attentive! We had coffee & it was great! 😊 Cappuccino was amazing, a little pricey but completely worth it 🥰(~5£)

We had a lovely lunch here. Started out sub par because no one came to wait on us at our table. But I went to the bar to order a bottle of wine and Leo turned our experience around. Once he stepped in, everything improved. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is lovely! The atrium gave us a perfect view of the crazy weather - partly sunny to downpour to rainbow perfectly framed in our view. Our lunch ended with blue sky and happy feelings.

I came for lunch with my friend yesterday, and Alex was amaizing in serving us! He recommended to get the popcorn shrimp, and it was great! The Bavarian Noam that was served to us prior to the food, was fantsastic. I would definetely recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you for taking care of us, will come again!

Walked in Brasserie of light for the first time yesterday and the welcome and service was so attentive that I ended up spending the whole afternoon at the bar with drinks and nibbles . The team was great , Leo and Brandon running the show made me feel at home, The bartender lady Zayn (hope I spelled it right )was very attentive and friendly
Definitely will come backtick try some food

Went for dinner with my partners family and everything was amazing the food is incredible. We had some truffle arancini, olives, zucchini and bread to start and it was all delicious, I had the mushroom rice bowl and it was fabulous also thankyou to Décio who made it even better would definitely recommend and would come again!!!

Food is so so
Carparccio of tuna was very good, not too cold however lacked the seasame seeds listed in the menu.
The cod is over priced for what is cod doused in a tasty sauce
Courgetti chips were mostly hollow bits of fried batter. The best had were at Tavolina where they were all green and baked, crispy courgettie.
Venue too loud.
A lot of hype. Money could go further.
Lovely venue however. Would recommend one person to be on storing possessions and one on reservations, the multitasking lead to confusion as well as appearing rude to waiting patrons.
Not offered pudding.
Square dishes would suit the smaller tables.
WC signage not clear enough.

Lovely decor, staff are really friendly & helpful, service was fast. The food was yummy, but it didn’t absolutely blow my mind (maybe just not to my taste). I had the aubergine main & burrata starter. I have knocked a star off because their veggie selection was quite limited.

I had a wonderful Saturday lunch at Brasserie of Light last week, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The ambiance was elegant and vibrant, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon meal.
A special mention to Alex, our waiter, who truly enhanced our dining experience. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly and provided impeccable service throughout. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and complemented by the stylish setting of the restaurant. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d highly recommend Brasserie of Light—especially if you’re lucky enough to be served by Alex!
Would definitely visit again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Arrived for a lunchtime booking at the Bar Counter for my 60th Birthday treat - which I had told them about via OpenTable. Shown to our place by an efficient but impersonal Maitre D. The Bar Tender quickly offered us menus, and water, but had to ask for the wine list. Then it all went downhill... Had to ask him to take our order as it appeared he had forgotten us. He said they were just busy,.. He brought the wine after serving us a glass each, and kept the bottle on ice behind the bar. An Italian couple arrived and sat next to us, to whom he constantly chatted to in Italian throughout our experience. When they ordered their wine, he poured them a taster out of our bottle. We pointed this out and he gave us a new bottle free of charge. We waited for at least 20 mins for our food (just one course each). Food was okay. My partners plate was cleared mine was not. We were not offered desserts. Another member of staff behind the bar was constantly throwing empty bottles into the bins very loudly. There was no acknowledgment at all of my birthday. Would not have paid the service charge were it not for the gratis wine. Will not go again, a very poor and soulless experience.

I used to sit at the bar while shopping. Today, I passed by, and the bartender invited me to sit. A man in a suit, who proudly claimed to be in charge, was busy with his laptop and suddenly asked the bartender to send me back to the front desk.
It's strange because we often struggle with employees and complain to management, but this "in-charge" guy seems responsible for ruining the business and causing declining satisfaction ratings.

Not our first, or last, visit Spectacular room with great food, very efficient staff - we got our mains within 30 mins of being seated despite the room being busy at Lunch. The Black Cod is excellent with a glass of whispering angel. Thanks also to our server Nicholas.
